Backstage, Drew McIntyre says don’t be surprised if he shows up during Randy Orton’s special interview tonight.
RAW Women’s Championship Match: Asuka (c) vs. Lana
Asuka locks in a side headlock. Lana forces Asuka into the ropes. Asuka runs over Lana. Lana rolls up Asuka. Asuka turns it into an Asuka Lock attempt. Lana quickly gets to the ropes. Lana and Asuka exchange kicks. Asuka misses a spinning back fist. Lana hits a scorpion kick. Asuka kicks out. Lana beats Asuka into the corner. Asuka hits a kick to Lana’s get that drops her like a sack of bricks. Lana rolls up Asuka but Asuka turns it into the Asuka Lock. Lana taps out.
Winner and STILL RAW Women’s Champion, Asuka!
Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler hit the ring and attack Asuka and Lana. Jax puts Lana through the announce table (again). Asuka kicks Baszler in the face and hip attacks her off the apron. Asuka escapes.
In-Ring Segment: Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax
Jax says it doesn’t matter what anyone says what they just did proved they can work together as a team. Baszler and Jax argue about the best word to use to describe them. Jax says they rule both women’s divisions and if anyone has a problem with that, they can come to the ring. Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke walk out to the ring. Lacey Evans and Peyton Royce come out next. Royce and Evans have a miscue during their entrance. The Riott Squad power walks to the ring.
