There are certainly some notable pairings in each draft pool, as some unofficial tag teams like Dominik & Rey Mysterio could be on the move. In addition, Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode are paired together, while Erik of The Viking Raiders is eligible to be drafted on his own since Ivar is out due to injury.

FOX Sports also revealed the rules for this year’s draft, including the fact that tag teams can still be split up if one of the shows wants draft one Superstar instead of both.

Meanwhile, executives at FOX and USA Network have been working with WWE Management over the past few weeks in regard to their preferences for draft picks.

  • RAW will once again get three picks for every two of SmackDown’s, accounting for the third hour of RAW (to SmackDown’s two-hour show)
  • Tag Teams count as one pick unless RAW/SD wants to pick one Superstar from the team
  • Any undrafted Superstars will immediately be declared free agents and be able to “sign” with either brand
