New Japan Pro-Wrestling continued the G1 Climax on Thursday. The marathon show saw one wrestler get eliminated from contention, ZSJ almost snap Toru Yano’s leg, and Tetsuya Naito breaking away from the pack. Naito’s win over Juice Robinson makes him the first B Block wrestler to hit 10 points, and makes him a clear leader of the block.
Nipping at Naito’s heels is EVIL, who scored a much needed win over Hiroshi Tanahashi. EVIL will face Naito on Oct. 11th, with the winner of that match being the man to beat in the block.
Plus Zack Sabre Jr. got fed up with Toru Yano, and Hirooki Goto kept his contention alive, at the cost of YOSHI-HASHI’s chances at G1 glory, mathematically eliminating his stablemate.
