NXT Women’s Championship Match: Io Shirai (c) vs. Candice LeRae

Shirai dropkicks LeRae low. LeRae sends Shirai flying but Shirai lands on her feet. LeRae rolls out to the apron. Shirai almost hits a sunset bomb off the apron by LeRae avoids it and lands a dive. Shirai responds with an Asai moonsault. Shirai sends LeRae into the ring and gets a two count. Shirai chokes LeRae in the corner. Shirai drives her knees into LeRae’s face. LeRae hangs Shirai on the second rope. Hangwoman’s backstabber by LeRae. Shirai kicks out. Head-scissor by LeRae. Shirai lands on her feet again but LeRae immediately hits a clothesline for a near fall.

LeRae drags Shirai’s eyes against the middle rope. Mr. Perfect-style neck snap by LeRae. Shirai kicks out. Walking backbreaker by LeRae. LeRae crushes Shirai in a corner with a running elbow. LeRae slams Shirai’s head into the top turnbuckle. LeRae stomps Shirai into the corner. Vertical suplex by LeRae. LeRae only gets another two count. LeRae’s frustration is written all over her face. LeRae continues her assault. LeRae misses a splash in the corner. LeRae misses her step up senton. Shirai hits a roll through into a double stomp.

Both women are down. Shirai is up first. Shirai hits a flapjack followed by a 619. Shirai nails LeRae with a springboard missile dropkick. Shirai tries a double under hook but LeRae reveres it and hits a step up senton. LeRae tries her springboard moonsault but Shirai kicks her in the face as she sails through the air. Shirai goes up top. LeRae cuts Shirai off and hits a powerbomb. Shirai immediately gets to her feet and hits a meteora. German suplex by Shirai. LeRae responds with a German of her own. Backstabber by LeRae. LeRae lands her patented springboard moonsault. Shirai kicks out!

LeRae slaps Shirai in the face. LeRae tries again but Shirai snaps her down to the mat into a crossface. LeRae eventually counters into the Gargano Escape. Shirai eventually gets to the bottom rope. LeRae accidentally hits the referee in the face. Shirai hits the air raid crash. Shirai attempts her moonsault bit LeRae gets her knees up. Shirai is sent into the referee, who falls out of the ring. LeRae hits the Wicked Step Sister.

Johnny Gargano runs down to the ring with a referee shirt on to count the fall.  Shirai still kicks out. A real referee runs down to the ring. Gargano hands LeRae the Women’s Championship. As Gargano argues with the referee, LeRae hits Shirai with the title. Shirai kicks out! LeRae goes up top. Shirai cuts LeRae off and crushes her with a top rope Spanish fly. Shirai lands the Over the Moonsault for the win!

Winner and STILL NXT Women’s Champion, Io Shirai!

Toni Storm appears on the ‘Tron and says she is back in NXT and coming for Shirai and the title. A motorcycle pulls up to the arena. The person riding gets out and enters the arena. The rider walks out on the stage wearing a helmet. The person removes the helmet to reveal, Ember Moon!
