Self-proclaimed Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn will go up against WWE-proclaimed Intercontinental Champion Sami Zay as one of several featured matchups this week on Friday Night SmackDown. Sami has spent weeks since his return proclaims Jeff to be a false champion despite the fact that he left WWE for months with the gold in tow. Both Jeff and Sami will put their belts on the line in a Triple Threat Ladder match at Clash of Champions on Sunday that also involves AJ Styles.
Who let this graphic get on TV @WWE?!
I have are a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a very long career that make me a nightmare. If you fix it now, it'll be the end of it. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you…and I will kill you

Elsewhere on the show as promised by WWE, Roman Reigns will sit down for an in-ring interview discussing his upcoming clash with Jey Uso in the Battle of the Bloodline for the WWE Universal Championship on Sunday. Roman, now aligned with Paul Heyman, has developed a whole new attitude since returning to WWE. He calls himself the Tribal Chief and seems to want to win with as little effort expended as possible. Will Reigns overlook his cousin on Sunday, or will the Big Dog prove why it’s his yard in the ThunderDome?
Also set for action are Alexa Bliss and Lacey Evans. Bliss struck The Sassy Southern Belle with a Sister Abigail, the second occasion that she’s used the signature move of Bray Wyatt once The Fiend’s name is invoked. Will Bliss make it out on top against Evans in a match, or will her mind wander once again?
