After reports surfaced yesterday that a handful of All Elite Wrestling superstars were released, Bea Priestley took to social media to confirm the news, and share a statement on the matter.
In a brief message on Twitter, Priestley said that she was grateful for the opportunity to work with All Elite Wrestling. She went on to wish the company success, and assured fans that she would be back on American soil once travel bans regarding the COVID-19 pandemic have been lifted.
“I’m so grateful for the opportunity to work on such a big platform with such a great roster. I wish @AEWrestling the biggest success & hope that everyone will stay safe & healthy. I will miss you all” her initial tweet read, before commenting on the COVID-19 travel bans. “This is a difficult time for everyone globally, & I completely understand the circumstances that COVID 19 has presented.
I’m sure once travel bans are lifted, you’ll be seeing me again on American soil.”
Priestley ended things by thanking Dustin Rhodes, Kenny Omega, Tony Khan, Cody Rhodes, and many other AEW members for giving her a chance to participate with the company. It’ll be interesting to see what the future holds for Priestley, but it seems as if she has no regrets for how things went during her time at All Elite Wrestling.
