Jimmy Havoc and Bea Priestley are no longer Elite.
According to a report from F4WOnline‘s Dave Meltzer, Havoc and Priestley have been released by All Elite Wrestling; no reason for their releases was given at press time.
Speculation about their status began when their respective profiles were pulled from the AEW website. A third person, Sadie Gibbs, was also removed from the site but she publicly confirmed she was no longer with the promotion.
Priestley last appeared for AEW in March 2020 and has not commented on her release as of press time. It’s worth noting that all three names are currently residing overseas and can’t travel into the United States due to COVID-19 travel restrictions.
In June, Havoc was announced by AEW as taking time off for counseling and treatment for “mental health and substance abuse challenges.” That announcement came shortly after the #SpeakingOut movement began, and several allegations of physical and sexual abuse were made against Havoc.
“We wish Jimmy Havoc all the best as he receives treatment and counseling in an effort to overcome the mental health and substance abuse challenges in his life. We are aware of various reports related to Jimmy. We are evaluating his status with our company and will address it when he has successfully completed his rehabilitation.”
