With WWE’s SummerSlam just a couple of weeks away, a new report from PWInsider suggests that the company will no longer be considering holding the event in Atlantic City, but will once again be held in Florida.
The report states that any plans WWE had to film content for SummerSlam in Atlantic City has been “dropped,” and that the show will be held fully in Florida. Previously, Wrestling Observer reported that WWE were hoping to film SummerSlam outdoors in Atlantic City but that seems to no longer be the case. With SummerSlam routinely acting as one of the biggest events of the WWE calendar, it’s no surprise they want to be as careful as possible with it, so keeping things in Florida may be the best bet.
