Salina De La Renta Could Be Forming An Alliance With Savio Vega In MLW

The pandemic has left a lot of wrestling promotions lying low, but Salina de la Renta was sure to keep rumors of Promociones Dorado rampant. It was during this downtime when de la Renta announced her return to MLW after being out of commission since November’s Saturday Night SuperFight in Chicago. Salina was inadvertently speared through a table by her “Destroyer” in LA Park and the “Bruja” went off the grid.

A recent article on the MLW website teases that there could be several international alliances being made as de la Renta was approved for renewal of her managerial license with the league and one that seemed a little more solid than others was an interaction with legacy star Savio Vega. The article states that Vega was reportedly in talks with Salina, but the details of the conversation are unknown.

Before the pandemic, Savio Vega happened to be feuding with The Dynasty’s Richard Holliday who stole the Caribbean Championship from Vega to claim it as his own. Holliday has since been clamouring for league officials to recognize the Caribbean Title as an official title for MLW and to recognize him as its champion.
