Pat McAfee Talks The WWE NXT Adam Cole Incident

Pat McAfee lit the wrestling world up with resentment when he utilized his NFL punting skills to blast Adam Cole on WWE NXT last Wednesday. McAfee understands he is “outsider” stepping into the wrestling world and does not want to embarrass himself,  name dropping “the SNL guys” or boxing champion Tyson Fury as examples he believed underwhelmed with their cameos in WWE. He noted this is not his first match, and shouted out his first pro wrestling performance with IWA East Coast. “I am gonna look good in there.” said a confident McAfee. “I am very much going in there with the mindset that I am going to win. I am going to remain undefeated, and I am going to dance on the grave of the entire f******* NXT.”

McAfee has appeared on WWE NXT Takeover Kick-Off broadcasts sporadically over the past few years. The brash broadcast host’s issues with Cole intensified when the former NXT Champion got into a heated altercation with the former Indianapolis Colt in his studio, and they nearly came to blows.

McAfee also shared some training footage on YouTube of his in-ring training including top rope maneuvers and taking front flip bumps. How do you feel about McAfee stepping into the NXT ring? Let us know in the comments below.
