It looks like the Baltimore Ravens aren’t aiming to “Steinerize” the rest of the National Football League this upcoming season as Rick Steiner’s son, Bronson Rechsteiner has been waived by the franchise.
The Ravens’ Twitter account just made the announcement today with no further details on the matter.
We have waived RB Bronson Rechsteiner.

Bronson was ready to go for football activities sharing in the excitement as recent as Friday, but not all hope is lost for the rookie player. Due to COVID-19, teams’ practice squads have been expanded and there’s always a shot The Dog Faced Gremlin’s baby boy could land back with Baltimore or somewhere else in the league. Reichsteiner, who played fullback for Kennesaw State was an undrafted free agent picked up by the Ravens in April. At that time, he spoke with Sports Illustrated‘s Justin Barrasso on the opportunity received:
“I’m willing to do whatever I have to do,” said Rechsteiner, who helped lead Kennesaw State to two Big South Conference championships during his four years in the program. “I’m willing to push the limits and go to the next level in order to make the team, whether that’s as a special teams contributor, fullback, H-back. Wherever they need me, I’m willing to do it.”
Reichsteiner also didn’t rule out a future career in pro wrestling either:
“I’m open to it,” said Rechsteiner. “But I know wrestling will always be there for me. It’s always been my dream to carry the family’s legacy in professional sports, and I’m staying focused on taking football as far as I can.”
