This week’s edition of Being The Elite has a few key moments, including one that could bridge onto other AEW storylines. A few segments in, viewers get a few slow-motion angles of Matt Hardy’s dangerous chair shot from last week’s broadcast. Hardy screams out for vengeance against Sammy Guevara as he gets initially looked at, and a backstage segment later shows Matt assuring The Bucks that he indeed can’t be killed. However, the blow to the head seems to have shaken up the Multifarious one. Hardy didn’t change completely, but the voices of his other gimmicks emerged through the regular Matt Hardy vessel. It seems that Matt may be broken once again.
To end the episode, we get a shot of a sullen Elite after their loss to The Dark Order on Dynamite. Omega rights off the faction as pure comedy, before the Bucks remind him of his own comic exploits in the past. In order to forget their troubles, the Elite turn on the TV, only to find out that The Dark Order signed the Chilli’s contract that they missed out on several episodes back. The commercial that follows is a BTE highlight that defies description, so just go watch it.
