Two weeks ago on AEW Dynamite, Eddie Kingston showed up with his working boots on, accepting Cody’s TNT Championship Open Challenge and creating an amazing debut in the process. Starting his career in Chikara back in 2002, the former Last of a Dying Breed has worked every indie federation in American, and many that no longer exist. He’s held gold in Evolve, CZW, IWA Mid-South, and more. As of today, he’s All Elite.

The signing comes after a two-week-long #SignEddieKingston campaign that saw fans continually push for his addition to AEW via social media. Among the first AEW talents to respond after the announcement was MJF, who blamed Dictator Jon for what he saw as a mistake.
More mistakes made under dictator Jon’s reign. https://t.co/zzAwFzu69V

Kingston himself also posted, saying that the Stray Dog was off the chain, which MJF also felt the need to comment on. I’m sure fans will enjoy seeing the newly crowned Mad King take on Maxwell in the very near future.
