7/29 AEW Dynamite Preview: Cody Vs. Warhorse, Dark Order Goes For Tag Gold

WrestleZone encourages you to begin your AEW discussion in the comments section below, in the WZ Forums, or via the WZ Facebook Discussion Group.

This week on Dynamite, the Tag Team Titles are on the line, Cody takes on a firebrand from the indie scene with social media support, and the full force of The Inner Circle is reunited in the ring. Here’s a detailed breakdown of what viewers can expect tonight on Dynamite.

  • Sammy Guevara emerged from the crowd last week to help The Inner Circle merge victorious over The Jurassic Express in tag team action. Now that Jericho’s full crew is reunited, they’re battling all their rivals in a five on five match against Orange Cassidy, The Best Friends, and the jungle duo. Can Sammy prove to be the difference-maker, or will Orange continue to beat the pulp out of the former world champion?

  • Team Taz (Ricky Starks and FTW Champion Brian Cage) will prove their worth as a unit tonight against two tough opponents. AEW Champion Jon Moxley provides backup for Darby Allin as the young man attempts to extract revenge from Taz’s machine in a Tornado Tag match.

  • The original lineup of The Dark Order are in line for a shot against Kenny Omega and “Hangman” Adam Page and their AEW Tag Team Championships. Can the cult impress Mr. Brodie Lee and claim the gold, or will it be the last call for Evil Uno and Stu Grayson’s title hopes?

  • It’s Horseman vs. Rhodes as metal enthusiast and indie darling Warhorse heads to AEW to try to wrestle the TNT Championship away from the Grandson of a Plumber. Will Cody’s winning ways continue, or can Warhorse usher in an apocalyptic end to Cody’s title reign?

  • AEW Women’s Champion Hikaru Shida is in action against Diamante in singles action. Diamante is looking to further prove herself in All Elite Wrestling, and there’s no better way to do that than showing up with your working boots on against the current champion. Can the former Impact star solidify herself int he division at the champ’s expense?

  • Last but not least, current #1 ranked Men’s competitor MJF will take to the ring for a “State of the Industry” address. He’s hinted that he’s going after the AEW Championship and he won’t let management stop him, but is that all he has to say tonight? The always brash Mr. Friedman will certainly speak his mind tonight on TNT.
