IWTV Independent Wrestling Champion Warhorse is Cody Rhodes’ next challenger for the All Elite Wrestling TNT Championship. In an interview with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Warhorse said he plans to capitalize on the opportunity. “’I’ll be head banging like nobody’s business on TNT,’” said Warhorse via Barrasso. “’People are going to see independent wrestling is alive and well. That’s the most important part of this match to me. Indie wrestling is going to rise to the occasion.'”
Warhorse, also known as Jake Parnell, credited his fans’ support as the catalyst for this match. “‘None of this happens without my fans,’” said Warhorse via Barrasso. “’People kept getting louder and louder, and they kept blowing up Cody about the match. Them getting riled up and fired up got me on television.’”
Parnell also said he plans to speak his mind on Wednesday night before he faces Rhodes. “’I’ll be looking for a mic as soon as I walk in the building,’” said Parnell via Barrasso. “’And my plan is to get in the ring and move faster than a bullet, with twice the firepower, and beat the ever-living s— out of Cody Rhodes.’”
