The latest NXT Injury Report is out now, and it has updates on a handful of superstars who participated in the second week of NXT’s Great American Bash special.
Man on the scene Matt Camp revealed that Adam Cole suffered a neck contusion while trying to deny the inevitability of Keith Lee as NXT’s first-ever double champion. The leader of the Undisputed Era is likely also seeking out attention for his bruised ego, but his medical wounds mark him as day to day. Mia Yim and Candice LeRae’s street fight also ended in tragedy for both of its participants. LeRae and Yim both suffered body contusions during the intense weapons match, with Yim adding blurred vision as well.
Robert Stone also suffered an injury outside the ring thanks to the combination of an angry Killian Dain and the treads of Shotzi Blackheart’s tank. He suffered ruptured leg ligaments after the green-haired one ran him over, and he’ll be fitted for a walking boot.
