Backstage, Corbin, Miz, and Morrison complain about what Riddle just did to them.

Intercontinental Championship Match: AJ Styles (c) vs. Drew Gulak

Styles tosses Gulak out of the ring. Styles slams Gulak’s head into the apron. Gulak takes Styles over with a victory roll. Styles escapes and clotheslines Gulak. Styles locks Gulak in a rear chin lock. Gulak gets to his feet and makes it to the ropes. Styles kicks Gulak in the knee. Daniel Bryan speaks to Cole and Graves via Zoom. Bryan talks about how Gulak had prepared for this match tonight. Gulak tries to fire up but Styles cuts him off with a dragon screw. Styles works over Gulak’s injured leg. Gulak manages to lock Styles in a modified chin lock. Styles struggles to get to the ropes. Styles rolls out of the ring. As Styles tries to reenter, Gulak crushes him with a nasty baseball slide. Styles is sent flying. After the break, Gulak misses a spear in the corner. Gulak hits the ring post hard.

Styles lifts Gulak up and drops him with a devastating brainbuster. Cole asks Bryan why he asked Gulak to be his coach. Bryan says after their match he knew Gulak was more technically sound than he is. Bryan had to learn from Gulak. Styles stalks Gulak in the ring. Styles buries his knee in Gulak’s spine with a running backbreaker. Styles gloats, which allows Gulak to roll Styles up for a near fall. Gulak managers to drop Styles face-first onto the top turnbuckle. Gulak whips Styles into the ropes and lands a dropkick. Gulak lands dropkick after dropkick. Michinoku driver by Gulak. Styles kicks out. Gulak tries a dropkick. Styles turns it into a powerbomb. Styles immediately transitions into the Styles Clash. Styles shakes his head no. Styles isn’t ready to pin him. Styles uses the ropes to prop up Gulak. Styles hits the Phenomenal Forearm for the win.
