Cain Velasquez is teaming up with Lucha-Masks.com in order to help feed the needy. The site is going to start selling personal protective equipment replicas of the mask he wore at AAA TripleMania during his professional wrestling debut with proceeds going to charity. 100% of profits will go to Second Harvest of Silicon Valley, which aims to “lead our community to ensure that anyone who needs a healthy meal can get one.”
The mask was originally designed by Oscar “Shock” Garcia for the former Ultimate Fighting Championship heavyweight titleholder. It pays homage to both the United States and Mexico, and features Velasequez’s “Toro” persona.
Per the website, only a limited amount of the masks will be made. Each is made using authentic materials and are produced in Guadalajara, Mexico. Each mask is handmade using authentic lucha libre mask materials. Orders will begin June 20, 2020.
