Women of Wrestling, which premiered on AXS TV in 2018 and ran for two seasons, will need to find a new home. As first reported by Pro Sports Extra and corroborated by Pro Wrestling Sheet, the network owned by IMPACT Wrestling parent company Anthem Sports and Entertainment has said that they wish to focus full time on IMPACT programming and will no longer carry the show. This is similar to the situation with NJPW, which was airing on AXS as well before the IMPACT buyout.
Women of Wrestling is a co-creation of GLOW founder David McLane and LA Lakers owner Jeanie Buss. It last aired episodes in November of 2019, and sources speaking with Pro Wrestling Sheet state that a new distribution deal is in the works and will be announced when restrictions caused by the global pandemic are fully lifted.
