It seems that RAW is getting more than one new face in the immediate future. WrestleVotes on Twitter is reporting that longtime WWE star Dolph Ziggler is heading over to RAW in order to shore up their talent roster. WWE will evidently frame it as RAW exercising an option granted to them by the “trade” of AJ Styles to the blue brand a few weeks ago.

Ziggler has been primarily involved in the Otis/Mandy storyline as of late, acting alongside Sonya DeVille to attempt to keep the two lovers apart from each other. That storyline led to Otis gaining Money in the Bank, and with Sonya battling Mandy on her own currently, Dolph’s role has seemingly come to an end and he’d be free to head over to the new brand.
Ziggler was last on RAW two years ago, forming a team and eventually feuding with current WWE Champion Drew McIntyre. It’s possible that Ziggler could be a minor opponent for the current champion if Drew hangs onto the belt given that history, but nothing is for sure until he shows up again on our TV screens.
