Vince McMahon Reportedly Sees Angel Garza As A ‘Young Eddie Guerrero’

In recent months, Angel Garza has been a featured competitor on WWE RAW. While former Executive Director Paul Heyman may have favored Garza, support for the young star reportedly traces back to the boss himself. According to Alex McCarthy of talkSPORT, Vince McMahon sees a future star in Garza. “Angel Garza is the latest star to become a favourite [sic] of the WWE chairman and sources tell talkSPORT McMahon has even referred to him as ‘a young Eddie Guerrero,'” writes McCarthy. For a young star still new to the main roster, a comparison to a WWE Hall of Famer is quite a feather in his cap.

Garza appeared on the newest episode of WWE’s The Bump. He discussed various topics, with one highlight being his reflectionon his issues with Andrade:

“I hope, I hope to stay for a long time but if not, I think, it has just been crazy moments because we have like a miscommunication (on WWE RAW,) he cost me this past Monday, with Kevin Owens, my victory. He’s saying that I cost him like this last opportunity that he had for the United States Championship, but I think it wasn’t like that. But I don’t know, I think I’m just gonna keep going. If he does something to me, I will pay in the same way like eye for an eye. It’s how my life goes, like how you treat me, I’m gonna treat you.”
