Adam Cole w/The UE vs. Dexter Lumis
Lumis backs Cole into the corner. Cole lands aa few strikes. Lumis grabs Cole by the through and tosses him back into the corner. Lumis unloads on Cole with gut punch after gut punch. Cole rolls out of the ring. Lumis follows. Cole rolls back into the ring. As Lumis follows Cole lays in a few stomps. Lumis lands his sliding uppercut. Cole and Lumis fight on the apron. Cole kicks Lumis in the stomach. Lumis falls to the outside. After the break, Cole hits a backstabber for a near fall. Cole tells Lumis he is nothing more than a freak and a weirdo. Lumis smiles. Cole hits a backbreaker. Lumis stares at Cole and tells him to hit him. Lumis returns fire with a vicious right hand.
Corner clothesline into a bulldog by Lumis. Slingshot suplex for a near fall by Lumis. Cole escapes Lumis’ fireman’s carry. Lumis turns that into a German suplex. Cole kicks Lumis in the knee. Cole tries the Last Shot but Lumis almost turns it into his finish. Cole escapes and superkicks Lumis. Cole misses the Last Shot again. Lumis spinebusters Cole. Lumis rains down rights and lefts. Cole trips Lumis out of the ring. Before Strong and Fish can pounce, Lumis slides under the ring. Lumis attacks Cole from behind. Cole attempts the Panama Sunrise but Lumis turns it into the Arm Triangle. Fish distracts the referee while Strong kicks Lumis in the head. Lumis releases the hold. Cole hits the Last Shot for the win.
Winner- Adam Cole
After the match, Cole stands over Lumis and talks trash. Lumis sits up and puts Cole in the Arm Triangle. Velveteen Dream appears and attacks Fish and Strong. Lumis and Dream fight Strong and Fish to the back. Cole is left in the ring alone. The lights dim and Scarlett appears. Scarlett walks down to the ring and places an hourglass in the ring. Scarlett flips the hourglass to officially start the timer for the end of Cole NXT Championship reign. Cole looks terrified.
