I’m afraid we’ve got some… good news for you Stu Bennett fans!
Bennett, the former Nexus leading man (and purveyor of ‘bad news’) will be reprising his starring role as John Gold in the I Am Vengeance series. The better news is you won’t have to wait long for it, as I Am Vengeance: Retaliation is going to be available for Video On Demand starting on June 19.
The synopsis of Bennett’s return to the series reads as follows:
“Former special-forces soldier John Gold is given the opportunity to bring Sean Teague – the man who betrayed his team on their final mission in Eastern Europe several years ago – to justice. Gold would cheerfully see Teague dead, but he is convinced to help transport him to a military prison to pay for his crimes. Along the way, Gold will have to fight off Teague’s team who are attempting to extract him, as well as a sniper seemingly hell-bent on killing Teague before he can be secured.”
Bennett joined the NWA as a commentator in December and has been focusing on his acting career in recent years; he first played Gold in the original film released back in 2018. Along with Bennett, I Am Vengance also stars veteran actor Vinnie Jones (Snatch, The Condemned, X-Men: The Last Stand).
