Edge is set to have The Greatest Wrestling Match Ever at Backlash and it also looks like he’ll have his hands full in the new film “Money Plane.”
Last week, Quiver Distribution announced Edge (billed as Adam Copeland) and Kelsey Grammer would star in their new film, set for release on digital distribution on July 10. The film follows Edge’s Jack Reese, a “professional thief with $40 million in debt and his family’s life on the line” and one final heist he’s tasked with, robbing a futuristic airborne casino filled with the world’s most dangerous criminals.
The film is written and directed by Andrew Lawrence (Brotherly Love), who is making his directorial debut. Lawrence’s brothers, Joey (Blossom) and Matthew (Boy Meets World), also appear in the film. The cast also includes Denise Richards, Thomas Jane, Katrina Norman and Patrick Lamont Jr.
