The feud between Matt Riddle and Timothy Thatcher has very quickly boiled over, leading to the two taking each other on in a Fight Pit match during tonight’s NXT. Although Thatcher started the match off by losing teeth thanks to a kick from Riddle, he came away with a win and the ultimate bragging rights.

Things started pretty bad for Thatcher, as he lost a tooth after getting a vicious kick from Riddle. Despite the early hiccup, though, Thatcher stayed in the match, and later proved why he was a formidable foe in his own right. Late in the match, Thatcher popped up after taking a hit from Riddle and proceeded to lock his opponent in a rear-naked chokehold. With nowhere to go and unwilling to tap out, Riddle passed out, forcing the referee to call the match in Thatcher’s favor.

Riddle hits the floating bro off the platform. Riddle runs headfirst into the cage. Thatcher locks Riddle in a rear-naked choke. Riddle drives Thatcher into the cage over and over again. Riddle drops Thatcher back first on the mat. Thatcher pops up and locks the rear-naked choke in once again. Thatcher puts is hooks in. Riddle passes out.
