Backstage, Damian Priest says he can focus on multiple targets and the championship will come in time. Bálor coming back to NXT was an opportunity he couldn’t pass up. Priest says Bálor’s name is going to turn to dust while his name will live on forever.
Io Shirai vs. Rhea Ripley
Shirai dropkicks Ripley as soon as the bell ring. Shirai tries a leapfrog but Ripley catches Shirai in a fireman’s carry. Shirai escapes but scratches Ripley’s back. Dropkick by Ripley. Ripley slams Shirai down to the mat. Shirai rolls Ripley into a double stomp. Ripley kicks out. After the break, Shirai does her backflip escape. Shirai rolls Ripley into the crossface. Ripley stands out of the hold. Shirai goes up top but Ripley cuts her off. Ripley sets up a superplex. Shirai punches Ripley to break the hold. Ripley fires back and eventually hits the superplex. Shirai kicks out.
Shirai and Ripley trade strikes. Ripley drops Shirai with a right hand. Shirai escapes Ripley’s suplex attempt. Shirai snaps Ripley down to the mat and locks in the crossface again. Ripley manages to get to the ropes. Springboard dropkick by Shirai. Ripley falls to the outside. dive by Shirai. Charlotte Flair walks out to the ring. Shirai does a head-scissor to Ripley that sends her into Flair. Shirai hits a DDT for a near fall. Flair gets in the ring and boots Shirai in the face. Flair spears Ripley. The referee calls for the bell.
Winner- No Contest
