According to sources speaking with PWInsider, one of WWE’s most integral producers is no longer with WWE. Michael Mansury, WWE’s Vice President of Global Television Production, gave his walking papers several months ago and officially departed his role last week. Mansury, who has been with the company since March 2009, started as an associate producer and quickly climbed the ladder. Some backstage dubbed him “the next Kevin Dunn”, seeing him as integral to Triple H’s plans for WWE.
Most recently, Mansury has served as the director of many recent PPVs and TV tapings. Sources speaking with PWInsider seem shocked that he would depart, and it seems clear that Kevin Dunn and Matt Miller will be handling his duties going forward. Mansury is one of several high-ranking WWE officials to withdraw from the company in recent months, perhaps only less notable than Vince axing George Barrios and Michelle Wilson back in January.
