Backstage, Rollins asks Murphy to take a walk with him. Rollins has had a revelation.
In-Ring Segment: Seth Rollins and Murphy
Rollins says after losing to Drew McIntyre he fell into a dark place. Without darkness, there can be no light. Rollins has seen the light. That is thanks to one man: Rey Mysterio. What Rollins was forced to do to Mysterio has shown Rollins the true path to being the leader he needs to be. Rollins knows Mysterio can’t see if right now (I see what he did there… do you see what I did?) this was a blessing in disguise. Rollins tells Mysterio, “you’re welcome”. Humberto Carrillo interrupts and says Mysterio is his idol and Rollins is nothing but a coward. Rollins offers up Murphy to fight Carrillo since Rollins isn’t dressed for a fight tonight.
Murphy w/Seth Rollins vs. Humberto Carrillo
Carrillo gets an early advantage. Murphy cuts Carrillo off and locks in a rear chin lock. Carrillo escapes with a chin breaker. After a strike exchange, Carrillo floors Murphy with a spin kick. Carrillo sends Murphy to the outside. Carrillo lands a dive. Carrillo sets up springboard but Rollins distracts him long enough for Murphy to recover. Carrillo tries a dive but eats a knee from Murphy. Murphy lands Murphy’s Law for the win.
Winner- Murphy
After the match, Murphy tries to beat down Carrillo but Aleister Black makes the save.
Backstage, King Corbin complains about the conditions on RAW. He’s a king, damn it!
