Earlier this year, following the shutdown of the league due to the Coronavirus, Vince McMahon’s XFL completely folded and entered bankruptcy. Off the back of this, Oliver Luck, League CEO, sued Vince McMahon for wrongful termination.
A new document released shows that there was a guaranty put in place that Vince McMahon would “irrevocably and unconditionally” pay Luck via the XFL’s parent company, Alpha Entertainment. The document would go on to reaffirm that this would be absolute and unconditional.
