During the latest segment of SiriusXM’s Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray spoke about the segment that Randy Orton and Edge had in the ring during this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW. In the segment, Orton challenged Edge to a match at Backlash, and Ray couldn’t have been happier with how things went.
“I don’t think that Randy and Edge did a great job at all,” he said. “I thought they did a phenomenal job. I think last night’s mic work between Edge and Orton was the best I’ve seen from the both of them, and Edge had no mic work, and that’s so great. Without saying a damn thing, I saw and felt the self-doubt in Edge’s heart. Because when Randy brought up the word ‘wrestling,’ it looked like it struck fear in Edge. Because a wrestler who’s been retired for 9 or 10 years knows ‘I can get by in a Last Man Standing Match, but damn, a wrestling match? Can I legitimately go move for move with Randy Orton? No man, I don’t think I can do it.’ That’s what you got from Edge last night: self-doubt.”
What did @bullyray5150 & @davidlagreca1 think about @EdgeRatedR & @RandyOrton on #RAW last night???
