This week on WWE RAW, Zelina Vega’s associates argued backstage before and after Angel Garza defeated Akira Tozawa. Then, WWE Champion Drew McIntyre came to the ring and dropped Garza and Austin Theory with Claymore Kicks. He then challenged WWE United States Champion Andrade to a match. McIntyre took control of the match and rocked Andrade with some stiff strikes. The WWE Champion chopped Andrade and slammed him onto the apron. Andrade rolled under the ring and lured McIntyre into a trap; Andrade pulled him into the hard apron. Andrade targeted McIntyre’s arm. McIntyre threw Andrade across the ring twice with two suplexes. McIntyre hit a diving clothesline and dropped Andrade with a Spinebuster.

Andrade continued to attack McIntyre’s arm and hit his double knee strike in the corner. McIntyre rocked Andrade with a Glasgow Kiss and slammed him to the canvas. He then drilled Andrade with a Claymore Kick for the win. After the match, McIntyre said he’s always down for a Claymore Party. He said his match with Seth Rollins was a battle, and the Monday Night Messiah brought it. The champion addressed the brand-to-brand invitation and said he’ll be facing King Corbin next week on WWE RAW because Corbin chose to face him. McIntyre promised to give him “a Claymore fit for a king.”
