Interim NXT Cruiserweight Championship Tournament Match: Isaiah “Swerve” Scott (0-1) vs. El Hijo Del Fantasma (1-0)
Fantasma rolls up Scott. Scott gets frustrated because Fantasma keeps getting the better of their exchanges. Scott takes Fantasma over with a head-scissor. A dropkick by Scott sends Fantasma out of the ring. Fantasma floors Scott with a step-up enziguri. Fantasma sends Scott back into the ring and lays in a few stiff strikes. Scott crotches Fantasma on the top rope. Scott leaps off the opposite rope and sends Fantasma flying with a springboard ranna. Fantasma kicks out. Fantasma manages to launch Scott out of the ring with a ranna.
Scott avoids Fantasma’s dive. Scott hits a PK off the apron. After the break, Scott is working an armbar. Scott tries a flying sunset flip. Fantasma rolls through and dropkicks Scott in the face. Ranna off the top by Fantasma. Fantasma crushes Scott with a frog splash. Scott kicks out at 2.5. Scott and Fantasma trade chops. Deadlift German release suplex bu Scott. Scott misses a Fosbury Flip but lands on his feet. Fantasma hits the tope from the gates of hell. Scott crawls back into the ring. Scott rolls up Fantasma for the win.
Winner- Isaiah “Swerve” Scott
After the match, Scott says he will not be denied. He needs this more than anyone.
Earlier today, Dominik Dijakovic challenges Johnny Gargano to a match next week.
During the break, the men in Lucha masks from last week try to kidnap Fantasma again. Fantasma fights them off again.
