AEW Rankings (4/29/20): Consistency Reigns As TNT Championship Tourney Continues

The newest edition of the official AEW Rankings is out. Don’t do a double-take, the standings are almost identical to last week’s numbers, with the only shakeup being the Best Friends scoring a victory on last night’s episode of AEW Dark. Chris Jericho has not returned to the single’s picture after dropping off the standings last week, and we may not see him return to contention until he comes back to Dynamite as a competitor rather than an announcer. Nevertheless, here are the (still) current rankings:

AEW Men’s Ranking

Champion: Jon Moxley

  1. Cody Rhodes
  2. Kenny Omega
  3. Darby Allin
  4. Lance Archer
  5. Jake Hager

AEW Tag Team Ranking

Champion: Kenny Omega & Adam Page

  1. The Dark Order
  2. The Young Bucks
  3. Best Friends
  4. SCU
  5. Lucha Bros

AEW Women’s Ranking

Champion: Nyla Rose

  1. Hikaru Shida
  2. Kris Statlander
  3. Yuka Sakazaki
  4. Britt Baker

With the ongoing TNT Championship Tournament reaching the semifinals tonight, we should see some movement on the Men’s scoreboard, as three of the four men on the bracket are also in the top 5. We’ll also see the Best Friends up against Kip Sabian and Jimmy Havoc, so there’s a chance they could jump ahead of the Young Bucks if they’re successful tonight.
