Tyson Fury Originally Part Of WrestleMania 36 Plans

Alex McCarthy of talkSPORT is reporting that Tyson Fury was set to be apart of the WrestleMania 36 festivities in Tampa, but the Coronavirus pandemic ran interference in those plans.

Fury confirmed with talkSPORT that he was going to be a factor in the “Showcase Of The Immortals”

“I was supposed to be at WrestleMania 36, but obviously with the coronavirus I couldn’t be there,” said Fury. McCarthy also adds that he’d love to face McIntyre after he gets his rubber match with Deontay Wilder.

Tampa Rumored To Host WM38

The WrestleMania ship may have sailed away from Tampa Bay this past weekend, but it maybe turning the masts back that way in 2022.

According to WrestleVotes, Tampa Bay looks to be on the shortlist for the WrestleMania 38 location.

Now that the weekend that “was to be” has passed, I can say that Tampa Bay will be in the running to host #Wrestlemania 38 in 2022.

All the initial legwork is obviously done, with the city still very much eager to host the event. Might be a shoe in. Time will tell.
