We reported last month that AEW Revolution drew significantly positive numbers across FITE and B/R Live. There is now an update on the PPV buy number courtesy of The Wrestling Observer.
It is being reported that the PPV brought in an overall estimated 100k-105k buys. These numbers indicate that this was AEW’s second highest PPV of all time behind Double or Nothing from 2019 that had 110k buys.
To compare, their last pay-per-view event, AEW Full Gear, brought in 100k buys. The numbers are still consistently across all AEW PPV’s. AEW is scheduled to hold their next PPV, Double or Nothing, on May 23rd in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. All Elite Wrestling has not canceled or rescheduled the event yet. The status of the event is up in the air due to the COVID-19 situation.
