Celebrate A Quarantine Birthday On Being The Elite

This week’s Being The Elite focuses exclusively on The Bucks, SCU and their AEW pals adjusting to the social distancing lifestyle. Early on, Nick Jackson shared some recovery news from his game room while also introducing the audience to his son Michael. He noted rightly that, would his son ever go into wrestling, his ring name might just be Michael Jackson. Nick doesn’t seem sure if that’s a good thing or not.

Elsewhere in life events, Christopher Daniels celebrated his 50th birthday this past week as he opened gifts in front of a fleet of Microsoft Surfaces putting out video chat. His gifts are all quarantine themed outside of a can of a rare Monster Energy variant. We also get a vocal cameo from TNA star Traci Brooks wishing Daniels well on his big day.

Kenny Omega reports from a bunker, saying he’s proud to defend his AAA Championship on AEW television, but still manages to be haunted by Colt Cabana. Luchasaurus, dejected during the crisis because it forces him away from his partner Jungle Boy, takes a long sit in a sauna. Afterward, he talks with a training dummy about seeking out his tail, one of the many things he’s lost over his centuries of life. He leaves his apartment on this quest, and we may pick up on this progress in future BTE episodes.

For all that plus librarian taunting, Hangman Page playing Animal Crossing, and the same Young Bucks book promo that was in the last two shows, check out the full episode embedded below:
