Following up on our previous spoiler-filled report from last night’s WrestleMania tapings, we now have an idea of who will be replacing the injured Andrade in his RAW Tag Team Title match. According to Post Wrestling, WWE filmed an angle introducing NXT wunderkind Austin Theory as Angel Garza’s new tag team partner. Said angle is likely set for this Monday’s edition of RAW, which will hopefully lead seamlessly into WrestleMania.
Theory is seen as a top prospect in NXT, having risen to TV straight from the Evolve roster earlier this year. With the match now in the can, we’ll have to see if the sinking ship in Orlando holds together long enough to sail through to WrestleMania weekend.
