In-Ring Segment: Roman Reigns
Michael Cole asks Reigns how weird it was coming into the arena with no fans. Reigns says it’s very weird but he’s here. When asked about Goldberg, Reigns says he is happy to be back in the main event. Cole asks Reigns what he thinks about people saying he doesn’t deserve to be in the main event of WrestleMania. Reigns says he did the work to deserve his shot. Reigns says he doesn’t have time for a part-timer like Goldberg. This isn’t about one move. This is about the nuance of performance. Reigns is taking back his Universal Championship at WrestleMania.
Backstage, Cesaro introduces the IC Champion Sami Zayn. Kayla tells Sami and Co. they aren’t supposed to be here because they have been bumped. Zayn says he doesn’t care because he is a champion! Zayn walks away. Jeff Hardy is Kayla’s guest. Hardy says he is happy to be back and he has plans for SmackDown. Baron Corbin interrupts and makes a bunch of jokes about Hardy being an addict. Hardy tells Corbin they have a match tonight. Elias walks in and says he wrote Corbin a song. Corbin says he doesn’t have time for this and stomps away. Elias mumbles that Corbin has no idea what’s coming.
Backstage, Daniel Bryan finds Drew Gulak. Gulak tries to walk away. Bryan stops Gulak and says Gulak was right. Gulak proved that there are some holes in his game. Bryan wants to learn from Gulak. Sami Zayn, Cesaro, and Shinsuke Nakamura walk in. Zayn makes fun of Bryan for asking Gulak for help. Bryan tries to get in Zayn’s face. Zayn calls Gulak a nobody. Cesaro steps in front of Zayn. Bryan challenges Cesaro. Cesaro accepts.
