WWE’s Saudi Arabia Crew Lands Safely
According to a report from PWInsider.com, the WWE crew that was in Saudi Arabia this week has safely landed in Boston today. WWE chartered a plane that left Riyadh last night at 2 am local time, and landed on schedule in Boston, site of tonight’s SmackDown taping.
It’s worth noting that WWE used Atlas Air for the flight from Winnipeg to Riyadh, and the returning flight to Boston. That company is also the same one that chartered the flights after the 2019 Crown Jewel event which was newsworthy for all of the travel delays and issues.
Tonight’s episode of SmackDown features John Cena’s return and an appearance by new Universal Champion Goldberg.
Sonya Deville Signs With Imagine Artist Management
Variety is reporting Deville (Daria Berenato) has signed with Imagine Artist Management for representation.
Initially getting her start on “Tough Enough” in 2015, Berenato currently wrestles on WWE’s SmackDown brand. She appeared on Season 9 of WWE’s E! docuseries “Total Divas” and also co-hosts a weekly web series “DaMandyz Donuts” with fellow WWE star Mandy Rose where they review the best glazed donuts around the country.
Berenato’s signing means she will now look to expand into film and television roles. Brian Grazer and Ron Howard’s Imagine Entertainment launched the independent Artist Management division in July of last year.
