Shelton Benjamin isn’t going anywhere.
The 44-year-old revealed on Lillian Garcia’s Chasing Glory podcast that he has signed a new deal with WWE. While a specific length wasn’t given, it’s known to be a multi-year deal. Considering his age, this new deal might mean that the veteran retires with WWE.
Benjamin has held a number of championships within WWE including the United States, Intercontinental and Tag Team straps. However, he hasn’t been contending for any since he returned to WWE in 2017. We’ll see if he has more left in the tank other than being a prop for Brock Lesnar storylines down the line.
