Teddy Hart Arrested For Drug Possession In Virginia

Former MLW star Edward Ellsworth Annis, known in the ring as Teddy Hart, was arrested yesterday in Richmond, Virginia for possession of narcotics with the intent to sell or distribute. He was booked at midnight and is currently in Richmond City Jail. He could face up to twelve months in jail and a fine of up to $2500.

Teddy Hart left MLW at the end of 2019 after several requests. He has frequently been in and out of many wrestling organizations, gaining a reputation for being hard to work with despite his in-ring talent. He has previously been arrested on multiple sexual assault charges in 2014 and evading arrest in 2017. In both of those cases, the charges were eventually dropped.

Hart has a court date set for Apr. 23 at 9 AM local time.
