During this week’s edition of The Bump, Candice LeRae commented on the implosion of Team Kick on NXT. She said she was excited initially when she knew that she’d be able to share a locker room with Dakota Kai and Tegan Nox at the same time, as they had already been good friends from their pre-WWE days. With Kai turning on Nox at TakeOver: WarGames, that dream was put to a halt, and it affected more than just the pair.
Since WarGames, things have been really emotionally taxing for me. Watching my friend basically lose her best friend, Tega’s a sister to me. For Dakota to do that to us and turn her back on all of us, it’s been horrible. I don’t even understand who Dakota is anymore.
Candice will seemingly get a reintroduction to Dakota Kai tonight on NXT, as the two former friends will go at it in a match. Kai may see it as a warm-up for her Street Fight with Nox in Portland, but LeRae isn’t going to pull any punches. We’ll see who comes out on top later tonight on the USA Network.
