Becky Lynch Defeats Asuka In Competitve Match To Retain RAW Women’s Title

This week on WWE RAW, Becky Lynch continued her rivalry with Asuka. The Man defended her WWE RAW Women’s Championship in another match between the two. Lynch previously evened the score when she defeated Asuka at WWE Royal Rumble. In this contest, both women were evenly matched early on. Lynch gained the upper hand and flexed on Asuka. Kairi Sane distracted Lynch and Asuka capitalized by knocking Lynch off the apron.

Asuka took control of the match and grounded Lynch. The Man fired back with two clotheslines and a dropkick. Asuka rolled Lynch up for a two count. The challenger caught Lynch with a knee to the head and got a near fall with an innovative suplex. Lynch took Sane out with a dive off the apron. Asuka caught Lynch with a Codebreaker for a near fall. Lynch locked in the Disarm-Her in the ropes. The Man dropped Asuka with a reverse DDT on the apron. Asuka locked in an armbar but Lynch powered out of it. Lynch evaded the Asuka Lock. Both men traded counters and Lynch slammed Asuka for a three count to retain the title.

Shayna Baszler attacked Lynch after the match. The former NXT Women’s Champion pulled out her mouthguard and bit Lynch hard enough to draw a lot of blood.

Later in the show, Lynch highjacked an ambulance and drove off into the night.
