Mike Kanellis is currently set to make his NXT debut this week, according to a recent report from PWInsider. Kanellis will be teaming up with Tony Nese during this weekend’s NXT live events, with the idea that a potential team up could be used regularly during the regular NXT television broadcasts.
The duo of Kanellis and Nese got a brief test run last night in Melbourne, Florida, where they took down Nick Ogarelli & Mohamed in a tag team match. This also marked the first time that Kanellis was wrestling in a WWE ring since publicly asking for his release from the company last year. With the release not being granted, it seems as if Kanellis has been convinced to wrestle once again, and will be doing so with Nese at his side for the foreseeable future.
