After months of speculation and uncertainty, Marty Scurll’s future with Ring of Honor has been confirmed. According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Scurll has signed a new deal with the company. In addition to the contract, Scurll is receiving more responsibility with the company. “As of this weekend, Scurll is taking on lead booking duties for the company,” Johnson writes. Former head booker Hunter Johnson, also known as Delirious, will work with Scurll.
Johnson also reports that the new contract allows Scurl to work for the NWA. It appears that Scurll’s new ROH deal will also allow Scurll to continue to work for the NWA. Per Johnson, Scurll worked behind the scenes at Ring of Honor Saturday Night at Center Stage, where his feud with NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis was included on the show.
