Braun Strowman Defeats Shinsuke Nakamura, Poses With IC Title

Braun Strowman came away with a huge victory over Shinsuke Nakamura on tonight’s episode of SmackDown, despite some interference from Sami Zayn and Cesaro. During the match, Strowman dominated for a majority of the contest, but had to knock Cesaro out of the ring after he was distracting the referee.

Following that, Zayn attempted to sneak the WWE Intercontinental Championship to Nakamura, who missed while swinging it and was then defeated. After the match, Strowman took the title and posed with it for a brief moment, before Zayn jumped in and snatched the belt back from Strowman.

Strowman tosses Nakamura clear across the ring. Big boot by Strowman. With the referee distracted, Cesaro sends Strowman into the ring post. Nakamura kicks Strowman into the timekeeper’s area. After the break, Nakamura runs into a lariat by Strowman. Nakamura surprises Strowman with a running knee. Strowman kicks out. Nakamura lays in multiple knee strikes. Nakamura hits the ropes but Strowman responds with a spinebuster. Cesaro gets in the ring with a chair. The referee sees Cesaro and makes him leave the ring. Nakamura misses a shot with the IC title. Strowman Powerslams Nakamura for the win.
