Backstage, Kayla announces that Corbin refuses to compete tonight and demands the match be postponed. WWE Managment says the match will happen and it will happen tonight. It is not a singles match between Miz and Bryan.
Backstage, Mandy Rose tells Sonya Deville to get ready because Rose has a match. Deville says Rose wasn’t out there with her last week. Rose says she didn’t come to the ring last week because Otis’ sweat was all over her dress. Deville says she will come to the ring once she is done signing the programs in front of her. Otis walks in carrying a cake. Otis’ mom baked Rose a fruit cake. Rosee says thanks and after a few awkward seconds tells Otis she has to go because she has a match.
Carmella vs. Mandy Rose
Carmella moonwalks, which infuriates Rose. Rose double legs Carmella and rains down rights and lefts. High knee by Rose. Carmella kicks out. After a series of pin attempts, Carmella lands a superkick for the win.
Winner- Carmella
Number One Contender’s Match: Daniel Bryan vs. The Miz
Bryan lands a few strikes. Miz trips Bryan on the apron. Both Bryan and Miz attempt cross-body blocks at the same time. Bryan and Miz are both down. Corbin’s security force run to the ring and attack Bryan and Miz to cause a DQ.
Winner- No Contest
Backstage, Corbin says those two shouldn’t be out there competing without him. Reigns has made this an unsafe work environment. Kayla tells Corbin that Reigns was asked to leave. Corbin changes his tune. Corbin will compete tonight. Bryan and Miz burst through the curtain and attack Corbin.
