Rey Fenix, one half of the Lucha Brothers, is one of the most popular stars in All Elite Wrestling. He recently spoke with Fightful and discussed several topics, ranging from his singles career to his experience with wrestling on television.
First, when asked about his career as a singles wrestler, Fenix said he’s open to both singles and tag team wrestling. “‘I just like to wrestle,'” said Fenix via Jeremy Lambert of Fightful.
Fenix also discussed his highly-praised match with Kenny Omega. “‘It was great,'” said Fenix via Lambert. “‘Kenny Omega is incredible. One of the best in the world right now. I put the best I can do and it was a great match. A great experience to wrestle with him.'”
Finally, Fenix compared his experiences with Lucha Undergroud and IMPACT Wrestling to his work on AEW Dynamite. “‘It’s different, but I worked for TV with Lucha Underground,'” said Fenix via Lambert. “‘So it’s not too bad. I think every company has a different style because it’s not the same people.'”
