Adam Page On His Schedule With AEW, Losing Hunter Horse Helmsley And More

“Hangman” Adam Page is one of All Elite Wrestling’s most prominent stars. In a recent interview with Fightful, Page reflected on the beginning of his career with AEW, losing his horse, Hunter Horse Helmsley and more.  Here are some highlights.

First, Page compared the death of his horse to that of a pet dog. “‘You can’t replace a horse,'” said Page via Jeremy Lambert of Fightful. “‘When your dog dies, you just replace it. But with a horse, you can’t replace a horse. Just gotta get a new one. [But] it’s too soon.'”

Then, Page said he’s relieved that AEW Dynamite is up and running. “‘It’s been good to get TV up and running.,'” said Page via Lambert. “‘We had our pay-per-views and that’s been great but the real deal is when TV starts rolling and that didn’t start until October. So we were all sitting around for nine months wondering, ‘Is this real?””

Finally, Page said he likes the schedule he works for AEW. “Somehow, I ended up making a good living as a wrestler not living on an airplane,'” said Page via Lambert. “‘I’m gone two or three days a week and then I’m home the rest of the time. I love it.'”
