To kick off WWE Starrcade, Kevin Owens hosted a special edition of the Kevin Owens Show. His guest was the legendary Ric Flair. The Nature Boy competed in the main event of several Starrcades throughout his illustrious career.

Flair praised the WWE roster and called the WWE Universe a family. Flair thanked Harley Race and recognized Dusty Rhodes and Sting. Owens asked Flair to give the fans a “Woo.” The OC, sans AJ Styles, interrupted Owens before he could “Woo” with the crowd. Luke Gallows called themselves the best tag team in the world. Anderson pitched making Starrcade a tribute to the OC’s greatness. Owens reminded the OC of Styles’ loss on WWE RAW last week. The Street Profits came to the ring and challenged the OC to a match.

The Street Profits gained the upper hand early on. The OC took control and grounded Ford. Eventually, Ford rallied and tagged Angelo Dawkins. The big man cleared house but a spinebuster from Anderson nearly ended the match. The OC double-teamed Dawkins and got another near fall. Ford broke up the Magic Killer and dove onto Gallows. A Frog Splash from Ford onto Anderson gave the Street Profits the win. After the match, Flair celebrated with Dawkins and Ford.
